Lush is announcing its first products designed to help reduce your risk of liver disease.
Lush, the Japanese luxury cosmetics brand, is introducing a liver health line for its Beauty and Health line, which includes a liver care product called Lush Liver Oil and Lush Liquid Liver Oil, the company said in a statement.
The liver health product is formulated with extracts from a variety of liver-protecting plants, including a variety from the Lactuca longa plant and a combination of two different plant extracts from the R. A liver health is an advanced liver disease caused by a buildup of toxins in the liver, according to the Lush website.
The company said it is not disclosing the specific ingredients in the product, but that the liver oil and the liquid liver oil are “generally believed to lower your risk for liver disease.”
Lush said it will distribute the product in Japan by May 2020, but it does not know how much of a presence it will have in other countries.
The product, which is not currently available in the United States, is designed to reduce liver damage by preventing toxins from attaching to and disrupting liver cells, the statement said.
Luscious products have been popular among men and women alike in Japan, where lusciousness has been the mainstay of lifestyle for decades.
