In his latest op-ed, health advocate and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg argues that doctors aren’t as smart as they seem to be.
Bloomberg wrote that he believes that doctors don’t always understand the latest research and the latest treatments that may be available.
He wrote, “In medicine, we can’t afford to be complacent.
Our health depends on it.”
Bloomberg wrote, “[T]he doctors and nurses I know have to work really hard.
But they’re not doing it alone.
The best thing we can do for the health of our nation is to encourage them to get out and make the right choices.
It’s the best medicine we can get.
The only way to save our nation’s health is to give it to them.”
He added, “We should be encouraging doctors and other health care professionals to make those choices.”
